Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000
$40.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Most extraneous keys can be programmed with macros (including the function keys). Low battery LED indicator. Good software - customize your function keys, see signal strength and remaining battery life.
The Cons:The glossy black finish around the keys really picks up fingerprints. The function keys are a lot smaller than on most keyboards. The included macro software is somewhat limited (won't allow the volume, zoom in/out keys to be altered).
The Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 is a standard wireless keyboard that relies on 2.4Ghz technology and a USB transceiver to stay connected to a PC from a range of up to 45’. The keyboard is extra compact at only 18x7", making it especially friendly to small PCs, notebooks, and even media tablets.
